  • SHEL - You Could Be My Baby

    SHEL is an American folk/pop band from Fort Collins. The band is composed of the four Holbrook sisters, where SHEL is an acronym for their names, Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza. They performed live on the CSU campus at the Lory Student Center for a special video produced by a team of CSU video/audio professionals and the student production group RamProductions.

  • Krushendo - Stardust

    This music video featuring Colorado/California musician Karlyle Walker, known as Krushendo, was produced and filmed by a team of CSU students (now alums) in 2019. It was created by Inglorious Filmmakers aka Amelia Phillips, Alexandria Clough, Austin Nay, Jon Johnson, and Jack Murphy as part of the 53:14: Music Video Experiment in conjunction with FocoMX and The Bohemian Foundation. Walker passed away in 2023 from a pulmonary embolism and this video is dedicated to his memory.

  • "Élan en Miraflores" - Russick Smith

    This music video features journalism adjunct instructor and local musician Russick Smith and was filmed by a team of CSU related alums and students.

    Filmed by: Matt Gohl, Taylor Utt, Eric Forbes, Bria Andress, Eric Mills, and Chiara Garland. This video was created for the 53:14 Music Video Experiment, produced by NoCoast Artists and CreatePlaces and was made possible thanks to support from Muse, a responsive, competitive grant program offered by Bohemian Foundation that provides support to organizations that have music as their primary focus, or that have a music-centered program.

  • The Burroughs - Live! @ CSU

    The Burroughs visit campus for a special Live! @ CSU concert performance on 9-13-24. From humble beginnings covering soul standards in their unlikely hometown of Greeley, Colorado, The Burroughs have traversed a decade of growth and reinvention to become a band that defies odds and transcends categorization. Since 2013, the 9-piece act has lit up stages around the country with their trademark brand of “sweaty soul music,” an invitation for audiences to dance, celebrate, and connect under a unifying and infectious groove.

  • The Patti Fiasco at the Lagoon Series

    Jet-fueled by powerhouse front woman Alysia Kraft, The Patti Fiasco rides the edge of emotional extreme, delivering a brash yet fiercely soulful brand of rock and roll with a heavy dose of rockabilly, blues, and ballad. At times raw and volatile, and at others, sweet and lilting, the band fuses a hard-rock swagger with the two-step of its Wyoming roots. The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a celebrated northern Colorado summer tradition. Produced by Colorado State University, Lagoon consists of concerts throughout the summer that unite music lovers of all ages.

At the Spur campus you can learn all about food, water and health.   This new science show for kids and lifelong learners will take you on new adventures with every episode diving deeper with experiments, expert interviews and activities!  Whether you’re at home or in the classroom, Wiz Kid will help you unveil the wonders of science from her favorite laboratory: CSU Spur in Denver, Colorado. 

  • Slow Caves at the Music District: Two Hours

    Slow Caves is a rock band from Colorado, consisting of Danish-American brothers, Jakob and Oliver Mueller, and their childhood friend David Dugan. After signing with Old Flame Records in 2016, they released their debut EP, Desert Minded, in early 2017.

    In this performance, sponsored by local radio station 105.5 the Colorado Sound, Slow Caves performed “Two Hours”. It was recorded and edited by RamProductions of CSU.

  • CSU Halloween Organ Extravaganza 2023

    The organ studio, with Colorado State University faculty artist Joel Bacon, presents the 18th annual Halloween Organ Extravaganza, with classic (and not-so-classic) works, including the famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach. If you think organ music or organists are boring, this concert will change your mind!

  • Mendelssohn Trio Performance at CSU in 2020

    The Mendelssohn Trio with members Barbara Thiem on cello, Erik Peterson on violin, and Theodor Lichmann on piano, has been in residence at CSU for a number of years. In addition to coaching student chamber music ensembles, the trio presents a program each spring, this year playing Ludwig van Beethoven’s Trio op. 1, Antonin Dvorak’s Trio in F minor, and Jennifer Higdon’s Trio.

  • CSU Symphony Orchestra Concert, May 2024

    At Colorado State University, this captivating and dynamic concert, directed by Dr. Rachel Waddell, is the perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year and dive into summer. From John Adam’s Short Ride in a Fast Machine to Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, these modern pieces are tied together by propulsive rhythms and energy that will keep you on the edge of your seat! The program also features one of the 2024 CSU Concerto Competition winners, Quinn Harlow, performing Keiko Abe’s Prism Rhapsody for Marimba and Orchestra.

  • CSU Wind Symphony Concert February, 2024

    Join the Colorado State University's Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Jayme Taylor, for a performance of “Musica Populi” or “Music of the People” featuring compositions with folk song or folk culture inspiration, including Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posy, H. Owen Reed’s La Fiesta Mexicana, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Who Puts His Trust…, and the finale to Frank Ticheli’s second symphony, Apollo Unleashed.

  • CSU 2024 Spring Choral Showcase

    The popular Spring Choral Showcase at Colorado State University features the Chamber Choir conducted by Dr. James Kim, Concert Choir conducted by Dr. Nathan Payant, and University Chorus conducted by Nicole Ceciliani. The performance includes a variety of works by J.S. Bach, Dan Forrest, Rosephanye Powell, Stephen Paulus, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Jennifer Lucy Cook, and much more!

  • CSU Sinfonia Concert featuring Mozart and More

    The Sinfonia, Colorado State Univeristy's chamber orchestra conducted by Wes Kenney, performs one of the greats of the repertoire, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. The orchestra welcomes one of the newest music faculty members, Stanley Curtis, playing the famous Trumpet Concerto in E major, S.49 by Johann Nepomuk Hummel. The program also includes the impish Commedia for (almost) 18th century Orchestra by the clever William Bolcom and an up-and-coming star, Gabriela Lena Frank, provides a new sound for UCA patrons. “Energetic, fun, and even some comedy, the audience will love this concert,” says Kenney, “It’s’ all part of a great season of CSU orchestras."

  • CSU Opera Performs The Magic Flute

    Colorado State University Ralph Opera program. Directed by John Carlo Pierce, Conducted by Wes Kenney. Die Zauberflöte was a great success at its premiere in 1791 and has never left the repertoire of the world’s operatic stages. The opera tells the story of Prince Tamino’s quest to rescue Pamina, the daughter of the Queen and of the Night, from the high priest, Sarastro. Through the power of the magic flute, he survives the trials of fire and water, and learns about brotherhood and justice. “The character of Papageno, the bird catcher, is irresistible to opera fans of all ages,” exclaims Pierce.

    Alysia Kraft’s sophomore EP, 'Electric Blooms' is a hard-hitting, hook-laden batch of indie rock that balances warmth, quirk, play, and catharsis in equal parts. Kraft’s long been a supernova and sweetheart of the Northern Colorado music scene, a unique front-person who is punk-kinetic, pop-accessible, and a genuinely powerful conductor of collective energy. The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a celebrated northern Colorado summer tradition. Produced by Colorado State University, Lagoon consists of concerts throughout the summer that unite music lovers of all ages. From Aretha Franklin to Bruno Mars, their variety of classic funk, spirited soul, and contemporary pop covers will have you dancing, tapping, and singing along. They have played numerous festivals, weddings, and private parties, providing the fuel to energize crowds.   • The Wendy Woo Band at the CSU Lagoon

    A long-time favorite at the Lagoon, Wendy Woo returns to close out the 2022 season. Her energetic personality, musical skills, and spirited songwriting have made her a Colorado favorite. WWB is a poly-ethnic, power pop, song-rock, six-piece band with sweet vocal harmonies and shuddering grooves. The band has performed all over the country in top venues such as the Living Room in New York, Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Wendy has also been named Westword Magazine’s Music Awards “Singer/Songwriter of the year” five separate times. For 25 years, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a celebrated northern Colorado summer tradition.

  • Clark Street Station at the CSU Lagoon

    When you come to hear Clark Street Station, be ready to have some fun, do some dancing, and sing along to songs you know by heart. The six-piece, classic rock band formed eight years ago, and plays mostly oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. This local group plays an eclectic mix of songs you’ve loved for decades, but also loves to play its original songs. They have played under the lights and under the stars, for fundraisers and celebrations as well as pubs. For 25 years, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a celebrated northern Colorado summer tradition.
