What began as an opportunity for graduate students to learn about farming turned into a crucial resource to fight food insecurity at CSU. The ARDEC South Research Farm gave an acre of land to the Growing Food Security project to support the CSU community. Students grew nearly 11,500 pounds of produce this year that they donated to the Rams Against Hunger food pantry and other local organizations.
